Beached Sea Turtles Found Injured in Ban Nam Bo Subdistrict, Panare District, Pattani Province

On January 8th, 2023, Office of Marine and Coastal Resources no.9 by Marine Resources Conservation Division Coordinated by Marine Resources Conservation Network Pattani Province.

In the case of a beached sea turtle being injured in Ban Nam Bo Subdistrict, Panare District, Pattani Province, So he coordinated the preliminary information and found that it was a Green sea turtle (Chelonia mydas), gender unknown without a wound, which is a rare and endangered marine animal. It is on the list of protected wild animals according to the Wildlife Preservation and Protection Act B.E. 2562.


Therefore coordinated with the Marine and Coastal Resources Research and Development Center in the lower Gulf of Thailand received a turtle to be examined and healed from an injury and released back to nature in the sea.
