On Tuesday, October 25th, 2022, the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources was chaired by the Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources. The International Union for Conservation of Nature: IUCN discussions were attended by the Deputy Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, along with executives from the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and executives from the IUCN at the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources.
This meeting Its purpose was to meet with the Director General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and executives of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources to introduce the organization and discuss ways to work together. The details of the various projects are as follows: 1) The 30 x 30 target and marine protected areas 2) Scaling up marine protected management in Thailand 3) Applying the IUCN Green List Standard 4) Blue carbon 5) Marine plastics working between the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and the International Organization for Conservation of Nature (IUCN) to further integrate joint operations.
