DMCR Discusses with to Resolve The Irrawaddy Dolphin Crisis in Songkhla Lake

On October 20th, 2022, the Representative of the Department of Rural Road, Acting Chief Engineer Survey and Design Department of Rural Road, and colleagues met with the Director-General of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources to discuss joint actions in conservation. Study and research to solve the problem of Irrawaddy dolphins in Songkhla lake During the preparation for the construction of a bridge across Songkhla Lake, Koh Yai Subdistrict, Krasaesin District, Songkhla Province - Khao Thanon Subdistrict, Khao Chaison District Phatthalung Province of the Department of Rural Road, which will expedite the establishment of a working group The Director-General of Department of Marine and Coastal Resources and the Director-General of the Department of Rural Road chaired the joint working group for conservation, study, and research, as well as to prepare for the establishment Research and Conservation Center for Addressing Endangered Irrawaddy Dolphin Problems to be able to solve problems based on academic databases and participation from all sectors.
