DMCR Installed a Steel base in the Chalok Bay area to be a Base for Planting Plane-shaped corals

On March 8th, 2023, Office of Marine and Coastal Resources no.4 by Marine and Coastal Resources Protected Area Management Unit, Koh Tao, Surat Thani Province, In collaboration with diving instructors, Koh Tao, and global companies Joint Project with Dive Shop, Koh Tao, Join DMCR.

To restore coral reefs, Koh Tao made iron bases to be installed in Chalok Bay, it is a plane-shaped coral planting base that benefits the coral to cling to and is the habitat of aquatic animal larvae.
