DMCR Joins Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center to Prevent Illegal Fishing in Pak Phanang

On 14th January 2022, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by Marine and Coastal Resources Office No.5 (Songkhla) led Marine and Coastal Resources No.305 together with Thai Maritime Enforcement Command Center Nakhon Si Thammarat and related agencies Investigate maritime security threats, including the use of illegal fishing gear fishing vessel inspection Labor inspections on fishing vessels or human trafficking and smuggling oil without going through customs Pak Phanang Bay Area, Pak Phanang District, Nakhon Si Thammarat Province and inspecting a local fishing vessel and publicizing the legal fishing practice not to infringe and act accordingly. The Promotion of Marine and Coastal Resources Management Act, B.E. 2015, including the Fisheries Royal Ordinance B.E. 2015 and the Fisheries Royal Decree (No. 2), B.E. 2019 , Garbage returned to the shore The results of the inspection of the ship did not find any illegal activities and have complete and correct documents.
