SeafoodSource The Seafood Expo Global 2023 Barcelona seminar was scheduled to take place from April 25th-27th, 2023, in Barcelona, Spain, and proposed that MarinTrust participates in the seminar to present case studies of fisheries improvement and development projects in Southeast Asia (Blue Transformation - case studies from SE Asia).
In this regard, MarinTrust, a network partner to implement the Gulf of Thailand Trawl Fisheries Development Program and co-sponsored the development of the Diversified Fisheries Assessment Requirements (Multispecies Assessment Methodology) sent an invitation letter to the working group Participate in the seminar and be a speaker presenting the implementation of the Gulf of Thailand trawl fisheries development project towards sustainability on April 26th, 2023, at 4:15-5:15 p.m. local time.
For stakeholders in the fishing and seafood industry, such as entrepreneurs, buyers, investors, and international organizations acknowledge and understand as well as increase the competitiveness of Thai fishery products in the global market. The TSFR Working Group has invited co-researchers of the Guidelines for the Development of Sustainable Trawl Fishery in the Gulf of Thailand according to International Standard as representatives to attend the seminar and present the project: Professor Dr. Tuantong Jutagate (Speaker) and Mr.Vorapong Iamtrakul, Project Director- Gulf of Thailand Trawl Fishery Improvement Project (FIP).
To network with stakeholders in the fishing and seafood industry, as well as to be an opportunity to communicate and publicize the activities and progress of the project on the global stage, this is one of the public's commitments to create identity and awareness of the improvement and development of responsible and sustainable fisheries throughout the seafood supply chain.
