Sea turtle beached in Bang Pakong fish raft

On May 24th, 2022, Department of Marine and Coastal Resources by Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center, Eastern Gulf of Thailand. Notified by the Rare Marine Life Rescue Network The story of a sea turtle stranded alive in the fish raft area, Talat Lang, Bang Pakong Subdistrict, Bang Pakong District, Chachoengsao Province The results of the investigation revealed a Green sea turtle: Chelonia mydas, carapace wide size 39 cm., long 42 cm, gender unknown, age 1 year 10 months, weight about 10 kg, with a microchip code number. Tested is a turtle released from the Marine and Coastal Resources Research Center in the eastern Gulf of Thailand. Released on March 12, 2022, at Ao Khai, Rayong Province, initially found that the turtles were in good health. There are no external and oral injuries. Physically fit (3/5 body condition score) able to swim, dive and eat normally. Therefore, it was released back to nature at Nam Sai Beach, Chonburi Province.
